17th December, 2015Programme at BCM College, Kottayam, joining with the Dept.of English. Inauguration of Aksharasthree: The Literary Woman by Dr.P.R.Sona, Municipal Chairperson of Kottayam. Honouring and giving the First Aksharasthree Award to Ms.Ushakumari who won O.V.Vijayan Award for her novel Chithirapurathe Janaki. Discussion of her novel and interaction between the Author and the audience.
4th February, 2016Poetry competition in Malayalam and English for the women students of colleges in and around Kottayam. Gave cash prizes and trophies to the winners. Women Writers’ Seminar on “Presence of Women in Writing and Society” at Thirunakkara Maidan, Kottayam. Rose Mary, Dr.Omana Ganghadharan, and Ushakumari partook. Dr.Sheena Shukkur, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University inaugurated the Seminar. Book-release of Parvathy Salil by Dr.Shukkur.

19th November, 2016One Day English Literary Workshop(SRIJANA: WORKSHOP ON CREATIVITY AND Writing) at BCM College, joining with the Dept.of English. Rev.Dr.Valson Thampu (Former Principal, St.Stephen’s College, New Delhi)gave the inaugural and keynote address. He talked on “What does it mean to me to be an Author?” Prof.Dr.Somasekharan B.Pillai (Vice Principal, CMI College of Applied Sciences, Champakulam) and Dr.M.S.Harikumar(Asst. Prof. Dept. of Communication and Journalism, University of Kerala) led the sessions on “Making of the Story: Fiction and Form and “Media and Creativity” respectively.

28th January, 2017Prof.Leela Mary Koshy’s book of short stories in Malayalam Sonagachiyilekkulla Vazhi , by Aksharasthree was released by the eminent writer, Mr.Paul Zachariah and was received by Ms.Rose Mary.
February 18, 2017 Conducted an All Kerala Short Story Competition in Malayalam for college students.
March 8, 2017Aksharasthree, jointly with the Women’s Studies Centre of C.M.S.College, organized the Women’s Day and Award-Giving Ceremony at a colourful function at C.M.S.College. Sarah Joseph and Paul Zachariah, eminent Writers were the Chief Guests. Five Awards were given on that day.

May 13, 2017 Vinayasree’s Novel Panchaliyude Ezhu Rathrikal which won the Aksharasthree Novel Award of 2017 was released at a function at C.M.S.College. Benyamin , the renowned writer released the book and Dr.Rajeev Kumar received the First Copy. Benyamin inaugurated the Workshop in Novel and Dr.Rajeev Kumar, Programme Director of AIR and Author led the Workshop. Prof.Leela Mary Koshy took a session on “The Development of the Story in a Novel.” Around sixty participants attended.

August 5, 2017 Aksharasthree and the Department of English of BCM College, Kottayam jointly organsied a “Workshop on Art, Culture, and Writing “ at Sr.Savio Memorial Hall, BCM College. Smt.Radha Gomati led the Workshop and there was an exhibition cum sale of the handiwork of the Resource Person and the students of the college.

Three Awards were given to notable women of literature Aksharasthree Literary Award, Aksharasthree Sapariya Award, and Aksharasthree Media Award to Sheeba E.K. for her novel Manja Nadikalude Suryan, J.S.Devi for her ever-continuing literary career,and Dr.M.Asha for her short film, “Chithirapurathe Malathi”repectively.
April 14, 2018Monthly meeting from 10 to 1 at IMA Hall, Kottayam. From 2.30 to 5.00 Award-giving function at the same place. Dr.Kunjamma George, member of Aksharasthree received the Award from Malayalam-Mathrubhasha based at Kollam, for her Aksharappetty, a collection of essays in Malayalam.
May 12, 2018M Rev.Dr. Varghese Kaippanadukka O.I.C., Director, GIrideepam Institutions and Principal GIAL released two books. One, Mrs.Laly Kattappana’s novel in Malayalam Silpi and two, the Preview of Seven Nights of Panchali ( translation in English of Vinayasree’s Panchaliyude Ezhu Rathrikal ) by Dr.Aniamma Joseph.
June 19, 2018The Day for Reading was celebrated at Press Club, Kottayam with various programmes. Padmabhushan Justice K.T. Thomas released Mrs.Sijitha Anil’s book of poems in Malayalam titled (Suryane Pranayikkunna Bhumi)by giving a copy to the famous literary figure Prof.George Onakkoor. Dr.Gopal K.Nair, Chairman of the Nirmal Jyothi Group of Schools and Colleges, was the Chief Guest during the function. Guinness Mrs.Latha R.Prasad was honoured on the occasion for her achievement in Reverse Spelling.
July 10, 2018 Story Telling was conducted for more than 50 students of the Govt.Schools under Manarcadu Panchayath at Manarcadu Govt.Upper Primary School from 9.30am to 1 pm. Headmistress Mrs. Pushpalatha presided over the function. Dr.Aniamma Joseph, Mrs.Ruby Mathew, Mrs.Remaniammal G. and Mrs.Pushpamma Chandy spoke on the occasion.
August 6, 2018 A programme by Alappuzha Chapter in connection with the Kurukshethra Book Fair at Aiswarya Auditorium at Alappuzha. A Short Story Competition in Malayalam for College students; a Drama Workshop for College students , led by Mrs.Mala Kalakkal and a Seminar and Book Review were the events of the Day. Certificates and Mementos were distributed. The Programme was a great success.
October 3, 2018 A programme by Alappuzha Chapter was conducted at St.Joseph’s College. A literary session, book release of Vijaya Santhan’s Novel Bhadra and Sreeranjini’s Collection of Poems, Tharat were the events of the Day. Mr.Sreejith Warrier did the release in the meeting presided over by Dr.Sheena Jose, Principal and Dr.Regimol Jose, Prof. Leela Mary Koshy, Dr.Aniamma Joseph, VInayasree , Mr.B.Sujathan, Vijaya Santhan and Sreeranjini spoke on the occasion.
October 27, 2018 A One-Day Film-Script Writing Workshop was conducted at DC Books Museum Hall. Simon Kuruvilla, a noted Film Director led the Workshop. 25 including non-members participated. Pushpamma Chandy welcomed and Vinayasree proposed the Vote of Thanks. Prof.Leela Mary Koshy and Dr.Aniamma Joseph spoke on the occasion. Five groups were formed for Short Film Contest and it was decided to conduct it on March 8, 2019.
November 10, 2018 Dr.Aniamma Joseph released Fire Fly Flickers, a collection of poems in English by Dr.Molly Joseph by giving over the book to her brother Dr.Mathew Joseph and Hidumbi(English) written by Dr.Molly Joseph by handing over the book to the original Author Vinayasree at the International Book Fair, Ernakulam.
November 24, 2018 Published Vanaputhri, a Play written by Vinayasree.
December 6, 2018 A forenoon session was devoted to a Seminar on “The Challenges to Women’s Creativity”, Book Releases and Review of Aksharasthree Books at the 35th Darsana Book Fair, Kottayam. Dr.Aniamma Joseph presided over the function. Vinaysree(General Secretary) welcomed the gathering. Ms.Nanikutty L. gave the rendition of her own poem on Aksharasthree.
Ushakumari(Author) inaugurated the Seminar. Ms. Lathika Subhash(State President of Mahila Congress gave the Key-note Address. Prof.Leela Mary Koshy,Dr.V.T.Jalajakumari (Asst.Regional Director, IGNOU), Mrs.ALeyamma Korah(Vice President, Female Film Society) and Dr.Kunjamma George spoke on the subject.
Prof.V.Sini, Ms. Remaniammal, Ms.Sijitha Anil, Ms.Mala Kalackal, and Ms.Laly Sabu did the reviews on the books published by Aksharasthree.
Ms.Lathika Subhash released the second edition of the 1985 novel by Dr.Aniamma Joseph and Vinayasree received the book. Ms.Sujatha Sreekumar(Joint Secretary) proposed the Vote of Thanks.
January 18, 2019 In a meeting conducted jointly with the dept. of Malayalam of Baselius College, Kottayam, Poetry Session, Book Release and Award-giving were successfully done. Mrs. Sunitha Ganesh was given Aksharasthree Sahithya Award for her novel in Malayalam Karimashi which won the First prize in the Contest for Novels in Book Form. Principal Dr.Jancey Thomas inaugurated the session presided by Dr.Aniamma Joseph and Dr.Muse Mary George, Author and Prof. of Malayalam at U.C.College, Aluva gave the key-note address. Mrs.Margaret George’s Novel in Malayalam titled Aval Midhila and Vinayasree’s Drama in Malayalam titled Vanaputri were released.

Dr.Sumi Mary Thomas(Director, Women Studies Centre, C.M.S.College) welcomed the gathering and Mrs.Pushpamma Chandy(Programme Secretary) proposed the Vote of Thanks. 5 books(Prof.Leela Mary Koshy’s collection of short stories in Malayalam(Theeram); Dr.Aniamma Joseph’s translation of Vinayasree’s Novel, Panchaliyude Ezhu Rathrikal (Seven Nights of Panchali ); Vijaya Santhan’s Novel for children (Ganapathi), Sujatha Sreekumar’s novel in Malayalam(Bhaghyadevathayude Vellikkolussu); and Dr.Molly Joseph’s collection of poems in Malayalam, Pokkuveyil Vettangal were released. Paintings of Prof.Latha Prem Sakhya, Mrs.P.L.Rajamma, Mrs.Betty Jose and Gargi Gopakumar were displayed.Mrs.P.L.Rajamma(Administrative Asst. of the Forest Department) was honoured during the occasion.
March 30, 2019 Aksharasthree Vaikom Chapter was inaugurated by Patron Prof.Leela Mary Koshy in a meeting presided over by Dr. Aniamma Joseph. Kaviyarangu and Kathaprasangam by Mrs.Sujatha Sreekumar were the main events apart from the inaugural function. Mrs.Sujatha Sreekumar and Mrs.Mala Kalakkal are the Co-ordinators of the Vaikom Chapter.

November 10, 2018 Dr.Aniamma Joseph released Fire Fly Flickers, a collection of poems in English by Dr.Molly Joseph by giving over the book to her brother Dr.Mathew Joseph and Hidumbi(English) written by Dr.Molly Joseph by handing over the book to the original Author Vinayasree at the International Book Fair, Ernakulam.
November 24, 2018 Published Vanaputhri, a Play written by Vinayasree.
December 6, 2018. A forenoon session was devoted to a Seminar on “The Challenges to Women’s Creativity”, Book Releases and Review of Aksharasthree Books at the 35th Darsana Book Fair, Kottayam. Dr.Aniamma Joseph presided over the function. Vinaysree(General Secretary) welcomed the gathering. Ms.Nanikutty L. gave the rendition of her own poem on Aksharasthree.
Ushakumari(Author) inaugurated the Seminar. Ms. Lathika Subhash(State President of Mahila Congress gave the Key-note Address. Prof.Leela Mary Koshy,Dr.V.T.Jalajakumari (Asst.Regional Director, IGNOU), Mrs.ALeyamma Korah(Vice President, Female Film Society) and Dr.Kunjamma George spoke on the subject. Prof.V.Sini, Ms. Remaniammal, Ms.Sijitha Anil, Ms.Mala Kalackal, and Ms.Laly Sabu did the reviews on the books published by Aksharasthree.
Ms.Lathika Subhash released the second edition of the 1985 novel by Dr.Aniamma Joseph and Vinayasree received the book. Ms.Sujatha Sreekumar(Joint Secretary) proposed the Vote of Thanks.
January 18, 2019 In a meeting conducted jointly with the dept. of Malayalam of Baselius College, Kottayam, Poetry Session, Book Release and Award-giving were successfully done. Mrs. Sunitha Ganesh was given Aksharasthree Sahithya Award for her novel in Malayalam Karimashi which won the First prize in the Contest for Novels in Book Form. Principal Dr.Jancey Thomas inaugurated the session presided by Dr.Aniamma Joseph and Dr.Muse Mary George, Author and Prof. of Malayalam at U.C.College, Aluva gave the key-note address. Mrs.Margaret George’s Novel in Malayalam titled Aval Midhila and Vinayasree’s Drama in Malayalam titled Vanaputri were released.
March 8, 2019Women’s Day Celebrations with Women Studies Centre of C.M.S.College. Mrs.Toshma Biju Varghese(Managaing Editor of Kanyaka) was the Chief Guest. Principal Dr.Roy Sam Daniel presided over the function. Dr.Sumi Mary Thomas(Director, Women Studies Centre, C.M.S.College) welcomed the gathering and Mrs.Pushpamma Chandy(Programme Secretary) proposed the Vote of Thanks. 5 books(Prof.Leela Mary Koshy’s collection of short stories in Malayalam(Theeram); Dr.Aniamma Joseph’s translation of Vinayasree’s Novel, Panchaliyude Ezhu Rathrikal (Seven Nights of Panchali ); Vijaya Santhan’s Novel for children (Ganapathi), Sujatha Sreekumar’s novel in Malayalam(Bhaghyadevathayude Vellikkolussu); and Dr.Molly Joseph’s collection of poems in Malayalam, Pokkuveyil Vettangal were released. Paintings of Prof.Latha Prem Sakhya, Mrs.P.L.Rajamma, Mrs.Betty Jose and Gargi Gopakumar were displayed.Mrs.P.L.Rajamma(Administrative Asst. of the Forest Department) was honoured during the occasion.
March 30, 2019 Aksharasthree Vaikom Chapter was inaugurated by Patron Prof.Leela Mary Koshy in a meeting presided over by Dr. Aniamma Joseph. Kaviyarangu and Kathaprasangam by Mrs.Sujatha Sreekumar were the main events apart from the inaugural function. Mrs.Sujatha Sreekumar and Mrs.Mala Kalakkal are the Co-ordinators of the Vaikom Chapter.
